Illuminations An Editorial by Aleesha Stephenson WOW. Can you believe it? It's been 4 years since our first issue went online. I followed my path and found myself here… publishing a magazine, recruiting writers, writing articles and quite frankly enjoying every minute! 4 wonderful years later, I'm enjoying this experience and loving the impact it has had on my life. I'm ready and willing to start our 5th year with a smile on my face, happy to do the work - shining light on other people's talents… ah this is THE life!!! This magazine would not be at all what it is, without the undying dedication of my staff. They polish the writers' work, and my work till it shines. I thank you all for every hour you've spent at your computer… *bows head in respect*. I have created this issue from my personal favourites. These are the articles and columns which touched me deeply, sometimes making me cry and other times making me laugh so loud my hubby wondered what I was up to. I also wanted to share with you all the top article/columns read from all the issues we've published. Interestingly they are all from 2004! Congratulations to Jeannette, Aunty Nasty, Grace Tran, Dawn Baumann Brunke, Tera Thomas and Stell Michelsen. Friend (and mother) to them all, she is also a life-partner to her husband David. Her life truly is filled with light.
