Tarot Swietlistej Drogi By Alla Alicja Chrzanowska I've never seen a deck like this one before. The cards are very unique in their artistry. The images have such movement and energy in them, you can almost see them moving and interacting with one another. The artist chose to use 3 colours - white, black and gold tones (with the exception of the Fool card which has a few other colours within it's imagery). At first I thought the lack of colour would make the deck boring, but it actually creates the opposite effect. The artist was able to show such great dimension within the tones, I found myself finding the same depth of information within the cards themselves. These cards are extremely talkative - they communicate a great deal of information within each layout and even though much of the text is in Polish, it's simple to discern which suit is which. The fire of the swords shows the energy of commencement within the imagery - definitely my favourite suit within this deck. I got my copy of this wonderful deck through the Tarot Garden and although this deck is extremely hard to get… I suggest you get on the waiting list early! (Although Jeanette at the Tarot Garden says she is hopeful the deck will be in stock late December - cost is approx. $80.) This deck really is a must have for anyone who enjoys true artistic beauty in a tarot deck. Go to the Tarot Garden to view larger images of this deck.
