A Spiritually Enlightening Online Magazine. January's Theme: "Path" Path
just follow the path and life's joys shall be yours. That's what they say. If you get in line and follow while I lead, you'll be liked, accepted, loved. You'll be one of us. I'll decide what's best and then everyone can like the same things, agree on the same goals, won't question the status quo. We'll all be happy and we'll all get along. Wouldn't that be just great?
Path? No thank you, not I. I'm not a follower. I'm a trail blazer. I want to roam the fields and forests and waterways of life.
I choose not to think outside the box. I choose to live outside the box.
The well-worn path is not my heart's desire. I want to breathe in life, a single breathtaking breath at a time with the butterflies, the ravens riding the thermals overhead and the sound of snow falling on a crispy cold winter's night.
Path? No, no path for me, thank you! Everything I need is within. Everything I love mirrors the within, creating this seriously awesome space around me. I choose to learn not from the common thought of man but the nature of deer, chipmunks, the tiniest of finches, the mighty eagle. My choice is to know the silence of owls' wings and Luna's energizing magic; I choose my heart and the stars to guide my way.
All of this, I find is not on a path but in places where footsteps are new and all that's left of my passing. I'll hold you close and dear. In my silence I'll hear you whispering on winds of change. I am always with you, I AM the sunshine on your face. I AM the breeze ruffling your hair. I live between your breaths and I AM your heart beating in another form. We are one in humanity. But, I must walk the unknown and launch spirit off mountain tops 'til I fly free and easy with the changes life demands. Freedom is the well from which all else flows. It means choosing what's right for me by consulting my heart and listening to spirit.
I choose to be the changer and changed for my reasons and purposes not those of an outside force. I travel lightly carrying love in my heart. Compassion on my sleeves. A smile on my face. A kind word on my lips. I shall not cease my searching, I'll search my whole life long, only to arrive where I began, knowing birth for the first time.
How wondrous we are, this sea of humanity reaching out over and over again until we find the soft spot we need to land and bloom in glory. For some it's along the path. For others the comforts of status quo. Me, for me, my soft spot is the ever-changing cathedral of nature. The garden in my heart. Night's sky with the stars to guide me. A summer in the meadow of sunshine, learning from the masters of kindness, compassion including gentle truth. Fall among gathers of rain drops and painters of rainbows. Winter I choose to rest in the stored energies of Spirit and know the quiet BEing, I AM. Then come Spring you'll find me dancing among the buttercups, playing with zephyrs in the wheat fields. I'll be laying on newly greened grass and singing in the rain.
In the whole world there are only two places I want be
Here and Now. My intention is to be a vessel that gathers rain drops and spills rainbows.
Life is precious. A single kindness changes the world. Listen and you will see there is more to the story than just the sound of my words. The choices I make are designed to change my seasons of BEing for my purpose and reasons. I'm burning my life candle at both ends until one of these days I'll simply fade away from the pure joy of living.
On breezes Spirit whispers the mysteries of BEing; Shhh
Self is speaking.
