Illuminations An Editorial by Aleesha Sattva (formerly: Stephenson) Three different writers submitted poetry for this issue. THREE writers. None of them knew what the others were doing. They all just sent in their submissions and I watched with curiosity as I opened one, and then another, and then one more only to find poetry in the attachments instead of the expected article. When things happen in three I don't take it lightly at all! In case you don't know, we stopped publishing poetry in Timeless Spirit many years ago. I believe this is the Universe's way of tapping me on the shoulder and asking me to rethink that decision. Consider it rethought and now, with great pleasure I'll consider poetry in future issues. I hope you'll all enjoy the talents of our writers. I know many of them write beautiful poetry! On to other news. We have this gorgeous issue and then one more and then a small break from tradition. We won't be publishing an issue in May this year. I'm taking a much needed vacation and when I get home I will be in the hospital recovering from surgery for a few days — so it seems that the Universe is tapping me on the shoulder a lot right now… asking me to change things up here a bit. Not publishing an issue has not been an easy decision for me, but one that I'm warming up to now that it's been made. So please… enjoy this issue. Drink it in. Embrace the words that the writers are choosing to share with you and know that we here at T.S.M. cherish each and every one of you who visits us every issue and breathes in our sharings. namaste', Aleesha Sattva Curious about my new name?
