Meant to Be Is it that sweet smile upon her delicate face;
written by Jennifer Kusz,

Two Poems; Love and Meant to Be
by Jennifer Kusz
two people coming together,
new-found partners
drawn to one another
by forces unseen
learning and discovering,
leading and being led,
stumbling and stepping on toes
but eventually falling in perfect time
with the music of Life
arms and souls wrapped together,
so entwined that even when the music stops
the dance continues on
through the spins and turns,
the dips and breaks,
the joining and rejoining
of hands and hearts,
creating your own rhythm
of life, of love,
of home.

her soft, gentle voice filled with
kindness, patience and love?
Is it his boisterous laugh, infectious and full of life,
reflecting his fun and spontaneous nature?
Or is it something deeper?
The way you balance each other out, perhaps,
your differences complementing
rather than conflicting,
gently challenging
and making each of you a better person
for having known and loved
the other.
Maybe you feel so at home with each other
that to be apart is to feel incomplete,
even if just for one night,
and when she tells you she can't sleep
without you next to her,
it reminds you of how much you're loved
and you can't wait to be in her arms once again.
Perhaps it is just that combination of so many little things,
things that may seem inconsequential to others
but to you comprise the reasons
you love each other,
and confirm that you are,
indeed,
meant to be.
for her fun-loving brother and his beautiful bride
on their wedding day
