Password Deva Premal Deva Premal's Password is a rich, sensuous delight that will thrill existing fans and is an excellent entry into her work for those not having heard her exquisite voice. Joining her on the CD are Miten and Manose, both of whom contribute vocal and instrumental talents which deepen the music to an even greater degree. According to the liner notes, during the production of the album, she travelled to Braj in India, birthplace of Krishna and the land of origin of kirtan (call-and-response chanting). The devotional nature of Password speaks to her study and travels. Listening to the album, I was enraptured by the lush musical landscape she paints and was transported beyond the here and now.
