I was thinking about the changes which have happened in my life during the past few months. My hubby chose to quit his job and invest his pension money, we rehomed our beloved dog and brought a new puppy into our home, our washer and dryer quit working from old age, our water pump needed to be replaced (as we are on well water), some columnists left and new ones have come in and my eldest daughter has graduated from home-schooling and is entering adulthood with great enthusiasm!

Last month I was relaxing in the hot springs near our home and allowing my body to be moved gently around the pool within the 'flow' of the water. With my eyes closed, my senses connected to the 'flow'.

There are huge windows on one wall and as I turned in the water I could see the light and then the dark. I moved within this rhythm and began to think about what 'flow' really is. I started to contemplate the day and the night. Beginning and end.

Everything has a 'flow', a movement. So how we can lose our 'flow'? The answer is, we can't. Just as the wheel turns in the tarot there are good times and bad. There are times when there is light and then the darkness follows. To find ourselves in a time when there is darkness isn't a bad thing, rather it's a time of lessons and growth (or possibly rest).

Timeless Spirit has gone through some changes recently and I believe every growing pain we experience assists us in creating a better publication. We are learning from our experiences - and if there is no growth and no learning, then what's the point? I know for me, with each achievement comes another challenge and I welcome the challenges in my life. I enjoy them (especially once they are over LOL).

We've also had some changes in columnists. We thank Tira Brandon-Evans for her willingness to share her wisdom with us in her column "The Tao of…" and we thank Toria Betson for "Cherishing the Earth". They have both moved on to new pursuits and two new columnists have come in to share their thoughts with you. Dawn Baumann Brunke has joined us with her "Lifetalks". She has been writing articles for us and I'm thrilled to announce she's agreed to become a regular columnist! She communicates with 'life' and shares her conversations with us. Dr. Bruce Burton has also agreed to come on board. He is already a regular writer for another publication and has agreed to share his stories here as well. His column is longer than the others, but is definitely worth the time spent to read it! I hope you enjoy his 'Tales of a Country Vet' as much as I do.
