Tarot Readings… by Dan Pelletier of The Tarot Garden. I contacted Dan for a reading. I've been reading tarot for almost 20 years but sometimes it's nice to get an outside, non-prejudiced opinion.
To be honest, I didn't even have any question in mind when I contacted him… no particular situation. Just a feeling that I wanted a reading. So when asked for a question… I chose not to give one. Dan responded the next day. He had taken a full 8 hours drawing the cards for this reading. Drawing one, going away and coming back to draw another. Once they were all drawn, he sat down to do the reading. At first it didn't make any sense to me. It spoke of an opportunity that I missed… one I looked at, pondered over and then… because of inaction, I missed it. I couldn't think of what it was. I tried to replay the last months over in my mind. I came up with an event and emailed Dan to ask him if he felt my 'take' on his reading was correct. He wrote back. "No." He shared a little more information with me regarding 3 of the 7 cards he had drawn. It was then my mind opened up and realized what it was the cards were talking about. I really liked this reading and will definitely contact Dan again in the future. He didn't spoon-feed me the reading. I had to stop, think and wake up to really get what was being shared and in complete honesty… that's really what I want in a reading. Being told "everything is wonderful and peachy… go be happy" isn't why I pay to get a reading from someone. I pay for a reading because I am looking for answers (even though sometimes I don't know the question… I may still 'feel' an answer is eluding me)… and when I contacted Dan for a reading… answers are what I got. Dan has shared with me that every reading he does is different.
