About the Cover Julita Wolanska Art is for me the essence of life. A way to express feelings and translate emotions into colour and form. My adventure with visual art started in childhood, but bloomed in my late forties. I obtained a Master of Arts from the University of Warsaw. I first worked as a librarian, then in the financial sector in the mutual funds, and now I'm working in the public sector, but my heart was always in the Arts. I rediscovered the joy of creativity and all its healing properties. I continue to study and explore new ways of expressions using different media, found objects and collages. I paint dreamy landscapes, whimsical portraits and vibrant colourful still life, but I find freedom in abstract art. I am an expressionist with a lyrical approach. I am inspired by nature. I want to capture light flickering in the spider web, calmness of the Canadian lakes, the energy of the vortex in the mountain creek, complexity of the coral reef. I am fascinated by all forms of life from simple molecules to the universe. In 2005 I became interested in Raw and Living Food. Since late 2007 I became dedicated to this lifestyle and awarded by much better health, sunny disposition and abundance of creativity. I am in a transition to an Artfully Raw life. I came to Canada 20 years ago. I live in St Lawrence Market Neighbourhood in Toronto. During the summer I have a table outdoors, near the Rainbow Cinema (80 Front St East) and North Market - I sell my cards and small watercolour paintings. I like to be close to the friendly people and fresh veggies and fruits!!! Strawberries, peaches, asparagus, tomatoes, sprouts, honey, greens - Wow! I have it all. I also exhibit and sell my art in Europe and North America.
