Ah, how do I review this book? How do I write something which conveys just how much I get out its many lessons in only a paragraph or two?

Dawn writes so beautifully. The story quality of her writing takes you on a journey into a space where trust and reality blend into a symphony of experience. I resonate so strongly with everything Dawn writes. The columns she has been writing for this magazine have always touched my soul very deeply. It's almost like she's writing for me rather than writing for the magazine. I feel the same way about her books. All of her books!

She seems to reach into my life and find what I need to hear the most, teaches the lesson I am learning and brings a greater sense of clarity into my life.

I have been reading this book for a very long time - almost a year. I haven't been able to write a review though because the way I've been reading it hasn't gifted me the opportunity. You see… I am simply opening up the book to whatever page seems right in that moment. Then I read - a page - a chapter… sometimes more before I close it up and wait for the next calling because yes, this book does call to me. I'll notice it on the shelf or in the back seat of my car, pick it up, open it and VOILA I am gifted with insight into my Self and my path.

As many of you know my Mom passed last year. I was thinking about her and I opened Dawn's book. There was a chapter talking about crossing over and choosing your next life and here I sit, pregnant with my Mom's soul - talk about timely! (I'll get more into this subject about my Mom's soul coming back as my babe in my column next issue.)

I don't know when I'll get every page read - I trust that eventually I will - but I'm not in a rush. I'm finding her words comforting and so to rush through them - to push myself to experience this doesn't seem right.

I highly recommend you grab a copy for yourself. We all have death touch our lives. A parent dies, a friend… mentor. On another note, some people eat meat and since that meat has to die to be consumed - we are gifted with the animal's perspective on this subject as well. This book will assist you to find answers - and even a few more questions - to assist you on your path and bring you comfort.

Dawn, thank you for writing this book. Thank you for taking the time to share with us all what our animal companions who share this planet with us know. *bows head in deepest respect* namaste'
