The Lakota Sweat Lodge Cards
by Chief Archie Fire Lame Deer
with Helene Sarkis, Ann Louise Gouléne and Wendy Meg Siegel

Illustrated by Alexander Sarkis
ISBN #: 0-89281-456-X

These cards are excellent for self-exploration or for getting an in-depth look at your current path.

The cover of the book sums it up well - "Spiritual Teachings of the Sioux". Chief Archie Fire Lame Deer inspired this group of women to create the book and deck to spread his teachings to a wider audience.

The deck, which is illustrated by Alexander Sarkis, is a wonderful companion to the accompanying book. Together they provide the reader with assistance to enhance their life with greater flow and harmony.

Each card has 4 categories: story, tradition, the card's meaning, and a meditation - giving you a deep understanding of what the card is telling you. I found I resonated with these cards and actually had to try to get them away from my husband so I could review them. He's taking them back to his side of the bed (on his night stand) tonight!

If you are following an earth-based or native Indian path, this deck will enhance your spiritual journey with nurturing guidance.
