Welcome to another unique edition of Timeless Spirit. It's our hope, each issue to take you somewhere we haven't gone before. Once we find our theme, each of us tries to find a unique spin on it, and finally we write it all down - sharing our beliefs and thoughts with you.

This issue takes you on a journey through many different 'pets'. We have the traditional; dog, cat, horse covered but then we have some other, more unique pets as well. Joanna Franchino introduces us to a wonderful 6-foot long snake, Rauri - Laura Korska enlightens us on the many wonders of Tarantulas - and I take you on a tour of my home "zoo". David Suzuki discusses our own human nature while Jean Hofve ponders whether or not animals should be pets at all.

Of course, Dawn Baumann Brunke enlightens us to the thoughts of animals with her column and my meditation takes us on a journey into shapeshifting which hopefully will bring you a deeper understanding of the world we live in.
