Healthy Juicer
Wheatgrass Juicer

Oh I have moved into wheatgrass heaven. I am soooooooooooooooooo excited to share this with you all. I just got my new wheatgrass juicer. I didn't want to spend $200 on a wheatgrass juicer so I spent a lot of time researching all the ones I could find online. The one that came highly recommended to me was the Healthy Juicer.

This little unit is a mere $45 and is worth every penny (and more!). I just set it up, which is super simple to do and cut some wheatgrass for myself. I ended up using a rectangle 8"x4" and this gave me a lovely 2 oz shot of juice.

It took no time at all to send the wheatgrass through the juicer. I did it in about 6 parts. I just cut a small portion of grass each time and my hubby turned the crank and out came this dry twisted grass. There is a little opening under the crank where the juice comes out of. So simple! Even a child could use this machine. It's that simple and easy to turn the crank. No major strength needed at all. (Of course you wouldn't want to give this to a child to operate as there are gears that could harm little fingers!)

The juice tasted exactly like the shot of wheatgrass I buy at my local juice bar made in one of those expensive wheatgrass juicers. I'm so surprised to be honest, I figured it wouldn't taste as good… but it does!

A one ounce shot of wheatgrass is equivalent to 2.5 pounds of greens and the equivalent of 2 cups of coffee! The nutrients in wheatgrass juice are completely assimilated by the human body in only 20 minutes.

Wheatgrass juice benefits blood cells, bones, glands, hair, kidneys, liver, muscles, spleen, teeth, and more! It also protects the lungs from pollution, cigarette smoke, toxins, and heavy metals.

Wheatgrass juice is a safe, effective, and an extremely potent aid to weight loss. It works by suppressing appetite, and by stimulating metabolism and circulation.

Wheatgrass has approx. 60-90 calories ounce. It has no fat or cholesterol. It has nearly 6 grams of (complete) protein per ounce, and includes all eight of the essential amino acids, as well as 13 of the remaining 16. The amino acids it doesn't contain are easily made within the body. It is 70% chlorophyll. Did you know that the red cell count returns to normal within 4 to 5 days of the administration of chlorophyll, even if you are extremely anemic? It also aids with constipation. Seems like the way to go if you are low in iron!

It contains Vitamins A, B1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 12; C, E and K. An ounce of wheat grass contains around 90mg of Calcium, 48mcg Iodine, 21mcg Selenium, 5220mcg Iron, 372mcg Zinc. It also has lots of anti-cancer agents. If you want to read more of the benefits do a search in google and you'll be pleasantly surprised not only by the quality of this wonderful juice but by the taste.

When you were a kid did you ever chew on grass? Well that's exactly what this tastes like. If you leave it sit for a minute or two it becomes even sweeter.

WHAT'S SO GREAT ABOUT WHEATGRASS JUICE?

  • Wheatgrass juice is 70% chlorophyll.
  • Wheatgrass is high in oxygen. The brain and all body tissues function at an optimal level in a highly oxygenated environment.
  • Chlorophyll is anti-bacterial and can be used inside and outside the body as a healer.
  • Renowned nutritionist Dr. Bernard Jensen says that it only takes minutes to digest wheatgrass juice and it uses up very little body energy.
  • Science has proven that chlorophyll arrests growth and development of harmful bacteria.
  • Chlorophyll (wheatgrass) rebuilds the bloodstream. Studies of various animals have shown chlorophyll to be free of any toxic reaction. The red cell count was returned to normal with four to five days of the administration of chlorophyll, even in those animals that were known to be extremely anemic or low in red cell count.
  • Farmers in the American midwest who have sterile cows and bulls put them on wheatgrass to restore fertility. (The high magnesium content in chlorophyll builds enzymes that restore the sex hormones.)
  • Chlorophyll can be extracted from many plants, but wheatgrass is superior because it has been found to have over 100 elements needed by man. If grown in organic soil, it absorbs 92 of the known 102 minerals from the soil.
  • Dr. Ann Wigmore helped people get well from chronic disorders for 30 years using wheatgrass.
  • It is a superior detoxification agent compared to carrot juice and other fruits and vegetables. Dr. Earp Thomas, an associate of the late Ann Wigmore, says that 15 pounds of wheatgrass is the equivalent of 350 pounds of carrots, lettuce, celery, and so on.
  • Washes drug deposits from the body.
  • Neutralizes toxins in the body.
  • Helps purify the liver.
  • Improves blood sugar problems.
  • Cures acne and even removes scars after it has been ingested for seven to eight months. The diet must be improved at the same time.
  • In the 1940 American Journal of Surgery, Benjamin Cruskin, MD recommended chlorophyll to: clear up foul-smelling odors, neutralize strep infections, heal wounds, hasten skin grafting, cure chronic sinusitis, overcome chronic inner-ear inflammation and infections, reduce varicose veins and heal leg ulcers, eliminate impetigo and other scabby eruptions, heal rectal sores, successfully treat inflammation of the uterine cervix, get rid of parasitic vaginal infections, reduce typhoid fever, and cure advanced pyorrhea in many cases.
  • Acts as a detergent in the body and is used as a body deodorant.
  • A small amount of wheatgrass juice in the human diet prevents tooth decay.
  • Wheatgrass juice held in the mouth for 5 minutes will eliminate toothaches and poisons from gums.
  • Gargle with wheatgrass juice for a sore throat.
  • For pyorrhea of the mouth, lay pulp of wheatgrass soaked in juice on diseased area in mouth or chew wheatgrass. Spit out the pulp.
  • Drink wheatgrass juice for skin problems such as eczema or psoriasis.
  • Keeps the hair from graying.
  • Taking wheatgrass juice, one may feel a difference in strength, endurance, health, and spirituality and experience a sense of well-being.
  • Improves the digestion.
  • Great for blood disorders of all kinds.
  • High in enzymes.
  • An excellent skin cleanser and can be absorbed through the skin for nutrition. Pour green juice over your body in a tub of warm water and soak for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse off with cool water.
  • Wheatgrass implants (enemas) are great for healing and detoxifying the colon walls. The implants also heal and cleanse the internal organs. After an enema, wait 20 minutes, then implant 4-ounces of wheatgrass juice. Retain or 20 minutes.
  • Great for constipation and keeping the bowels open. It is high in magnesium.
  • Dr. Max Bircher, a research scientist, inventor of muesli, and founder of the famed Bircher-Benner Clinic in Zurich, Switzerland, called chlorophyll "concentrated sun power." He said, "Chlorophyll increases the function of the heart, affects the vascular system, the intestines, the uterus, and the lungs… It is therefore a tonic which, considering its stimulating properties, cannot be compared with any other. "
  • According to Dr. Bircher, nature uses chlorophyll (wheatgrass) as a body cleanser, rebuilder, and neutralizer of toxins.
  • Dissolves the scars that are formed in the lungs from breathing acid gasses. The effect of carbon monoxide is minimized since chlorophyll increases hemoglobin production.
  • Reduces high blood pressure as it enhances the capillaries.
  • Removes heavy metals from the body.

I can't recommend this highly enough. I really love using this juicer. I've been using it daily since it arrived and the wheatgrass juice is so sweet and yummy! Order your Healthy Juicer today! (or perhaps join our free give-away in this month's Illuminations!)
