An Editorial by Aleesha Stephenson

I remember when I first laid eyes on this cover. We were celebrating the Solstice with friends and I came into the house to use the washroom. When I walked into the living room I was face to face with this huge canvas - 5'2" x 5'10" - and I was rooted to the spot. I couldn't move. I just stood there… drinking in this piece. I must have stood there for 20 minutes before I gingerly decided it was time to get back outside and join the celebration. I walked directly over to Gary and said, "Please Gary… please let me use the work you have hanging in your living room as a cover for my magazine." He smiled at me and said, "Of course!" I was absolutely thrilled in that moment, knowing I would be able to share this piece with you all. Imagine it in it's full form of 5'2" x 5'10" as you gaze upon it. Allow yourself to weave in and among those branches…

Okay, back to typing - I got lost for a moment remembering the magnificence of that piece in front of me.

We have some winners to announce and I'd like to share some of the wonderful feedback we've received with these give-aways. What a treat it is to hear what our readers love about TSM.

I'll never forget when Melissa Gilbert first mentioned Timeless Spirit Magazine to me and said that she would be contributing raw food articles to the magazine. The name of the magazine intrigued me, so off I went to explore the site. I remember the feeling of being spiritually nurtured by some of the articles I read at the time, particularly this one. It reminded me — nudged me — to "love, regardless." I immediately shared the article with my dear friend, Tee, whose heart the article also touched. Since that time, I would pop by Timeless Spirit every now and then, as I continue to do, for a good dose of spiritual contemplation and the feeling of "heart" behind the issue. I am happy that I have finally subscribed to the magazine. ~ Penny

Timeless Spirit is the first magazine that I had ever seen with so much insight and love and care. It came at the worst point in my life (both parents passed away) and for that I am thankful. Dedication and self love are all around this magazine. If ever I forget how to love myself, I just read an article and there is something there that I can always tie back into my life. Thanks all of you who work on this endeavor. It is much appreciate from me and from my Mom. She is the one who has set me on this path and for that I thank her as well. ~ Karen

Timeless Spirit Magazine set me on a course of investigating animal/human communication. Your regular column on the subject opened up an awareness in me that has had a profound effect on how I view the totality of life, the interconnectivity of all living beings, and has especially pleased my cat because now I understand him when he tells me what he wants for dinner! ~ Nancy

I especially like the reviews. GLASS STRAWS? I didn't even know they existed. And just this week I was thinking I would love to drink my green smoothie with a straw, but I didn't want to buy plastic straws because—yes, you guessed it—they're like those pesky wheatgrass cups: useful but not so great for the environment. I'm looking forward to reading many more issues of your magazine. Thank you for sharing it! ~ Kari

I love that Timeless Spirit showcases the talents of such simple, beautiful, humble folk. The articles are so poignant and so many times have come as answers to an inner struggle. I love the fact that people are encouraged to share their thoughts and talents through this medium. Your artist Laura Brennan Rice's picture of the phoenix is so moving, I did email her in gratitude for sharing it in your magazine and I thank you too. Lastly, and for me personally your magazine is readable, it is not overwhelming, and it has an appealing aura. Thank you ~ Judith

Timeless Spirit Magazine is something I have literally just stumbled upon and immediately subscribed to when I discovered it. It all started when I was googling some raw recipes which lead me to you and I was hooked! All the talk about juice fasting, reiki, and raw foods really spoke to me. I've been trying to balance my diet and my spiritual nature through learning how to meditate, breathe, write positive affirmations, trust my intuition, do yoga, and make healthy choices. And then I find a link to Timeless Spirit, a magazine that just seems to encompass everything I'm looking for right now; spirituality, a column on meditation (which I intend to learn but am having the hardest time understanding and implementing into my daily life), and a column on Raw Foods, wow! Food and spirituality go hand in hand with me. When I eat better, I feel better. My intuition kicks in. I gain clarity. I am so excited to find a place that shares that same principle, and I can't wait to read what the writers have to share!

Thank you so much for sharing this magazine with the world! ~ T.O.
