A Spiritually Enlightening Online Magazine. May's Theme: "Being Present" Each and every one of us is a creation of Spirit who stands among the crowds with many others who are also creations of Spirit. Self of course is the main attraction. Many of us discover as we grow up that Self in essence is our individuality, our characteristics or what we may even refer to as the "Ego".
With our identity concealed deep within the depths of our souls it helps us with direction along our journey to discover little parts of it. Our character is not shown all at once for this would make life too simple, uninteresting and uninspiring. The personality only allows little pieces at a time to flow through - forcing us to seek out the rest and investigate who we truly are inside.
How many of you are connected to the Self? I believe that those who experience high levels of confidence and self esteem are very connected and tuned into themselves, they know who they are, where they come from and where they are going in life. Wouldn't you agree?
These individuals are in fact linked to what is called the Higher Self enabling them to be in harmony with their body, mind and Spirit. How does one get connected to the Higher Self you might ask? This is a very good question and this has been asked again and again for centuries.
To tune into that inner awareness all you need is you, for you are the device in which to connect to the source of you. Many find they can connect through meditation or yoga, others through exercise or writing. Some channel their Higher Selves by communicating verbally out loud or inside their minds to reach the Source within themselves.
However you choose to do this, know that there is really no wrong way. Choose a way that feels most comfortable for you and then work on tuning into that invisible unseen part of yourself.
The challenging part is having to look at all those qualities you don't want to know about, confront or even agree with. These qualities are there and while you may not like them they are not all bad. They can be very helpful to you if you allow yourself to put them to good use. To do this acknowledge them, look at them individually and observe how they have been used thus far. This might be difficult but having a look at what makes you unique really is worth it.
With this new found understanding you will be able to help yourself to accomplish the goals, dreams and desires you have always wanted to conquer. Keep this in mind every time the fear of looking at your whole being comes into your mind. By looking at your whole core you can start to mend and heal that which is broken and needs fixing or remove that which is no longer working. All of this will help you, heal you and make you stronger in the end.
To learn more about yourself, simply observe your many different levels, qualities and characteristics. Do not be afraid to change for the better as it assists you along your path. It also brings more wisdom! With this wisdom you can gain insight into yourself which will allow you to grow and develop as an individual, helping you to succeed with many things you wish to achieve or accomplish.
All of this sounds easy doesn't it? Well let me be the first to tell you that it is not as easy as it sounds. It is a lot tougher than you may think but as we already know with hard work comes benefits (and its rewards). Your reward will be knowing yourself; who you are and where you're going, what it is that's stopping you from receiving success, what's holding you back. To study and converse with your inner knowing you can answer this question and many more, but it is really up to you to decide what it is that you want before proceeding.
Once you have decided what you wish for and desire write them down and look through the list. Is the list you have created meeting your needs? If not then look through the list again to see what it is that you may have omitted and eliminate what you are unhappy with.
You can make separate lists. One for qualities you need to develop, another for transformation and one more for qualities you aspire to. Make sure your lists are realistic.
Start working on two or three qualities at a time and once you have achieved one then move on to another.
You must live for you and there is no one out there who can do this for you, I can offer you advice, I can help to show you how to receive this and that, but in the end you need to do what you want to do, what your heart and soul tell you to do.
Keep a positive attitude. Believe in yourself and allow the magic to happen. Allow life to flow with ease and focus on your plans for growth. This will work with perfection leaving you feeling happier, healthier and much more vivacious than ever before.
You know all your hard work will pay off so give yourself a pat on the back for all of your effort. Believe you can do it. Focus on your strength and courage and remember to follow through.
You are an amazing human being who deserves to shine and radiate your light with the rest of the world. Use this new found power to shower your wisdom and insight to all who seek it.
This is the beginning of the rest of your life. Feel proud for all you'll accomplish for you will succeed where many do not travel. The new found success and inner beauty will lead you to places you have never been before allowing you to feel for the first time what the words "you are important" really mean. Appreciate and have gratitude. Life really is worth living!
