Set in 1893, the images are romantic and simple… the colours muted and yet the feeling you get is this deck is organic in nature, very earth based. The cards give me a sense of an older woman… refined and perhaps a little eccentric… shuffling the deck and laying them out… speaking of things she should not know, yet she does. Definitely a deck a beginner could use as the meanings are common but don't let that stop you from acquiring a deck for yourself… or your favorite aunt!
