Magical Tattwa Cards by John Mumford (Swami Anandakapila Saraswati) ISBN#: 1-56718-472-3 
I have never seen another deck like this! This kit can be used for self-transformation, divination, scrying, meditation, stimulating your chakras, and even aids in astral projection! Dr. John Mumford's, Magical Tattwa Cards and Book Set, combines the more than 2,500 year old, elemental Tattwa symbols from India, with the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn's magical flashing colours system. In this ancient Indian system, energy condenses out of five elements, which are the building blocks of all matter. Ether, from which all the elements emerge, Air, Fire, Water and Earth. Each of these elements is represented by a simple shape and colour. The Tattwa cards combine two elements on each card. The colours used are the flashing colours of the Golden Dawn's teachings. Relevant writings by Israel Regardie are included in the Appendices, for those wishing to study this further. Flashing colours are basically opposite colours, which cause each other to have an aura effect. This appears somewhat like the edges are flashing. When you meditate on a card, and then look at a blank sheet of white paper, you will clearly see the same image, only the colours will be reversed. This stimulates both sides of your brain at the same time. The colours on these cards are very intense and were produced with special ink. It is recommended that you store the cards in a box out of bright light, to prevent fading. The backs of the 26 cards are black and feature a silver pentacle, with the symbol for each element surrounding it. The cards are a 4" by 4" square. The only complaint I have about this deck is that the corners were not rounded at all. Unless one shuffles very carefully, the sharp corners can prick the hand. The 288 page book begins with a brief history and explanation of the Tattwa symbols. It then goes right into several exercises. The book contains a large, easy to use, divination section, to look up the meaning of each card, and sections on scrying, chakra stimulation, clairvoyance, astral projection and more. I have been using these cards for only two months and have already seen a big difference in my life. I find it difficult to describe just how these symbols have become integrated into my being. My dreams especially, have been very vivid and full of symbols. I suppose it is not surprising that often that symbolism is based on the elements. Last night I dreamt of a fire station and a water works facility that featured a wind tunnel! I have also begun using the Tattwa Cards as a divination/meditation tool, drawing one card each morning. Each card has been synchronizing perfectly with the day's needs or events. After just a couple of minutes of doing the exercises/meditation, I find myself feeling as clear and centered as though I had been meditating for half an hour. What a great way to start the day!
