IlluminationsAn Editorial by Aleesha Stephenson Another issue is ready for your eyes and I hope you get the same joy out of this issue as I've had putting it together for you. I want to thank Steve Abernathy for coming through for me. The originally scheduled cover image fell through at the last minute and a quick email to Steve and within a few weeks, he created a wonderful collage for us all. As you all may remember, Steve has done two other breathtaking covers for Timeless Spirit. He was kind enough to bless us with his work on our second issue - way back in January of 2004 and then again in January of 2006 - what a treat to, once again have his work grace our cover! Thank you Steve! I'd like to welcome Jennifer Dillon to our family. She's going to be writing a fitness column and I think you are all going to enjoy her wisdom and words as much as I do. I hope you'll all join me and become inspired by Jennifer to create more movement in your life. I have a dream as many of you do as well. I think our dream is similar. I would love to see the world come together in peace. I would love to see the people of this Earth love each other every day. This beautiful video and the story behind it shares this dream and hopefully it will inspire you to continue dreaming - because WE can make it happen! I am, once again mentioning our forum. Many of the sections are not visible to those of you who are not members of the forum, but once you join, you'll see the other sections. We have a handful of members and we're bonding and sharing - getting to know each other. I hope you will come join us. We laugh a lot, share deeply and are creating a place of support - it's an honour to be part of this process. This issue is dedicated to one of my closest friends. Darryl and I have known each other for 6 years and I love him deeply. He chose to take his own life on July 12, 2008 and I will miss him for the rest of mine. We have, of course had many conversations since then, but I miss him just the same… knowing I won't feel my arms around him again. I am one day older than him and so this August we would have turned 45 together. Unfortunately I'll be celebrating without him. So for now, I say good-bye to a kindred spirit.
