It is Good to Feel Good
by Dj Brown

Similar to twinkling stars in evening's twilight time, fireflies show off the glory of creation, independently, one at a time and then joining together off and on, turning the courtyard into a sacred space of precious charms. Shadows creep closer as magic hour ends in a blaze of quiet completeness. Sounds of night settle tenderly on ears listening to Earth Mother's whisper. "Good night." Drawing in the majesty with every breath the Master and the student sit in still contemplation. They sit in serene bliss while night's blanket falls delicately upon them. Silence broken by the student with a sigh saying, "Sitting with evening has touched my heart." The Master nodded, stood and they parted in peace.

It is a wonderful thing this knowing. Once we know we cannot go back and the knowledge of the evening forever is etched upon on kindred-self, Universal Consciousness. You might say, "What does this have to do with anything?" Master would say, "Everything." For once we know an experience, as such, we are the experience. We create the appreciation with our awareness then claim it as our own. Like student and Master sitting side by side we know awareness and appreciation in our own way. Seeing it from our vantage, hearing from ears with different definition, we each paint the evening in our own image of awareness. My friends, this is sovereignty of body, mind, spirit. We are born gifted with individual awareness, appreciation, and love created in autonomy of choice.

A stream of joy flows endlessly through life. It flows in everlasting eddies, swirling around the rocks in its path and moves with life harmoniously to the Oneness of Creation who carved it accordingly. We flow in surreptitious delight with the stream of joy either consciously and willingly or we fight and try to swim up stream. As such flowing with the current of Life, consciously creating through deliberate thought we expand the Universal Consciousness in the physical experience. On the other hand when we fight the natural flow of Life's stream we pollute it dredging up focused toxic creations. You might say, "We didn't mean to do this, why would we create toxic situations for ourselves." Master would say, "Because you want to be born knowing contrasts so that you might know the difference between day and night, sun and moon and the difference between fall and spring. Your diversity is your inner compass guiding you to create as the Breath of Life Creates, as nature creates and as the vibrations of all that is creates. Diversity is good. Diversity is right. If we allow it to be taken from us through the blend in factors of socialization we become as the sameness that moves us nowhere. We become stale, and stagnate in creating.

In other words, when we choose to flow in the stream creating our lives first in thought, then manifesting the thought upon which we have dwelled and given focus to into physical birth of reality we honor our diversity and that of others.

Intentional creations expand the magnificence of the Spring of Life from which we are born. As such, we are spilled onto our path and purpose in life. It feels good to flow in the Stream of Joy and it good to feel good. We are not meant to feel otherwise, but ultimately it is our choice. Our experiences are engraved upon a tapestry expanding our Universal Consciousness and remember, once we know, we cannot, under any circumstances not know. We each are part of the All, the Whole, the Cause.

You might ask, "If I am given freedom to create my life as I choose, then why am I stuck in an endless circle of doubt, anxiety, and fear with one misshapen incident after another?" And Master would answer, "Because we are free to choose and when are not choosing to create with awareness and appreciation we craft what we do not want out of fear of being different. We have somewhere along our way given up our diversity to a socialization which does not honor it."

Creations we do not want are grounded in our socialization as we grew up with family, friends, teachers, ministers, and government counseling us to blend in. We are told we are valued for who we are, but seriously; we are not, because diversity is not valued unless it meets standards of what is accepted and normal. We are assured we are loved, but seriously; how is it loving, when we are loathed for our body size, color of our skin, how we worship, because we are different in our approach to creating our lives?

If we are to thrive in this experience of life our freedom must be claimed as our own. We each must honor and cherish our diversity as part of our free will of choice. As such, we must not look to others for the approval of our dreams. We must be our own biggest fan with encouraging affirmations and thoughts. We must be aware and appreciate who we are right now. We must fashion our life with the knowing we have inside, not the judgment of what others think.

When we look in the mirror would the child in us be proud of whom we have become? For the most part, yes, I believe so. If we cannot look in the mirror and see who we are and love ourselves, how are we ever going to paint the tapestry of experiences generated from free choice? How can we flow in the Stream of Joy if we do not create with deliberate awareness what we are creating? How will we love and appreciate others if we do not love and appreciate ourselves?

The trinity of deliberate awareness, deliberate appreciation and deliberate love are tools for feeling good about living, and living to feel good about our place in the Universal Consciousness. This trinity is a direct affirmation of our birthright known to each of us through the Beloved Breath of Life's directive. As such we are free to accomplish what we choose. Free to be the very, very best of who we can be. Free to see the world from our unique vantage and join, flow, and relish in the Stream of Joy. Free to be.

Like the fireflies twinkling the evening's twilight we are beautiful because we are. We are valued and cherished because we are. We are because we chose to be. We choose to be because in the spirit of freedom and diversity we chose life wanting to know. It is our birth right and it is good.

It is good to feel good.
