Survival and Other Stories Jon Anderson Jon Anderson and Yes fans will enjoy Anderson's new album "Survival and Other Stories." This album is my first exposure to his solo music (I am a big fan of Yes) and I am impressed by the messages within the lyrics and the complexity of the music itself — something a Yes fan is going to expect from a former band member. This is not a sit-back-and-relax CD, but is instead a sit-up-and-pay-attention (again, not a surprise from Yes' frontman and chief lyricist) that flows through tonal moods, interesting rhythms, and uplifting messages.
